GAZA CITY (Ma’an) – Two Palestinian children from the Gaza Strip successfully crossed the Israel-Gaza border fence, on Saturday, according to Hebrew-language news outlets.

Sources reported that two 8-year-old boys managed to cross the border fence into Israel, however, were returned to Gaza by Israeli forces immediately.

Sources also mentioned that the two children allegedly had a knife in their possession.

Israeli forces regularly detain Palestinians attempting to cross into Israel from the besieged Gaza Strip, which has suffered under a 12-year-long military blockade by Israel.
