Total number of Palestinians killed since Friday rises to 6

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- A 37-year-old Palestinian succumbed to his wounds, on early Sunday, that he had sustained during “The Great March of Return” protests two days ago in the besieged Gaza Strip.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, Yahya Bader al-Hasanat, 37, succumbed to his wounds that he sustained on the 31st Friday of “The Great March of Return” along the eastern borders.

The ministry confirmed that al-Hasanat was shot in the head by Israeli forces as he was protesting along the border.

Al-Hasanat was transferred to the al-Shifaa Hospital to receive medical treatment, however, he was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

This brings the total number of those killed in Gaza during the 31st Friday of protests to six Palestinians killed.

Since the start of the protests on March 30th, more than 205 Palestinians have been killed and over 22,000 others were injured along the Gaza border by Israeli forces.
