QALQILIYA (Ma'an) -- Dozens suffered from tear-gas inhalation, on Thursday, as Israeli forces fired tear-gas bombs into Palestinian homes in Azzun village, in the northern West Bank district of Qalqiliya.

Local sources said that large numbers of Israeli forces raided the Azzun village.

Israeli forces particularly raided the northern part of the village, causing clashes to break out between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces.

Sources confirmed that Israeli forces repeatedly fired tear-gas bombs towards Palestinian homes in the village, leading to a fire sparking in one of the homes.

Several residents suffered tear-gas inhalation while inside their homes.

Azzun is surrounded on all sides by areas under Israeli military control and an Israeli settlement bloc sits directly to the south. It has one of the highest rates of detainees per capita of all villages in the occupied West Bank, including many children.
