QALQILIYA (Ma’an) -- Clashes erupted in the Azzun town in eastern Qalqiliya in the northern occupied West Bank after dozens of Israeli settlers raided the town overnight.

Residents of the town threw rocks and empty bottles at settlers, causing material damage to nearby vehicles.

Dozens of Palestinians were exposed to tear gas as Israeli forces raided the town in protection of the settlers, and fired tear gas and rubber-coated steel bullets at Palestinians.
