GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Palestinian medical sources announced the death of a 30-year-old man on Friday night after he drowned off the coast of Beit Lahiya in the northern part of the besieged Gaza Strip.
A spokesman for Gaza’s Ministry of Health Ashraf al-Qidra identified the victim as Muhammad Farawanah from Gaza City.
Al-Qidra added that the man was found drowned off the al-Wahah coast in Gaza and was evacuated to the Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahiya in critical condition. Doctors announced his death upon his arrival at the hospital.
