21-year-old Palestinian killed, 2 injured in drive-by shooting in Jenin

BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) -- A 21-year-old Palestinian was killed while two "children," whose ages remained unknown, were injured after unidentified gunmen opened fire from a passing vehicle at a residential building in Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.

Palestinian police spokesperson Luay Irzeiqat told Ma’an that police had opened an investigation into the drive-by shooting.

Various Palestinian social media pages reported that the shooting attack was carried out in the Kafr Dan village west of Jenin, and identified the victim as Muhammad Hussam Majid Abu Jassir from the town of Silat al-Harithiya.
