Elderly Palestinian man killed after tractor flips over in Jericho

JERICHO (Ma'an) -- An elderly Palestinian man was killed on Saturday morning when a tractor he was driving flipped over in the Popeye area in the occupied West Bank district of Jericho, according to Palestinian police. 

Police spokesman Luay Irzeiqat told Ma’an that police officers and ambulance crews had found the man dead under his tractor. 

The victim was identified as 70-year-old Abd al-Aziz Suleiman Nabahin.

Nabahin’s body was taken to the Jericho public hospital. Palestinian police said they were continuing to investigate the incident.
