HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained two Palestinians in the Hebron town of Beit Ummar on Monday, a local committee said.

Muhammad Awad, the spokesperson for Beit Ummar's popular committee, said Israeli soldiers detained Mahmoud Adel Hasan Muqbel, 17, and Muhannad Ahmad Mahmoud Barbarawi, 17.

Israeli soldiers also delivered summons orders for Muhammad Ayyad Awad, 21, and Murshed Muhammad Murshed Awad, 37, to go for questioning at an Israeli DCO in Gush Etzion settlement on Tuesday.

Clashes broke out during the arrests, with Israeli soldiers firing tear gas and stun grenades at unarmed protesters.
