JERUSALEM (Ma'an) -- Hamas called for Palestinians in the West Bank to participate in "Day of Anger" demonstrations in all cities and villages of the West Bank on Friday in solidarity with the people of the besieged Gaza Strip and with the forces resisting the Israeli military assault.
Hamas called upon Palestinians to take part in a march of 100,000 in Hebron city, which will set of from in front of al-Hussein mosque heading to Shuhada Street.
Marches will set off from in front of Omar Bin al-Khattab mosque in Bethlehem, al-Suq mosque in Qalqiliya, and al-Bireh mosque in Ramallah.
A march will set off from al-Jadid mosque in Tulkarem and from al-Haj Maazuz al-Masri mosque in Nablus.
The marches come on the 24th day of an Israeli assault that has killed more than 1,400, the vast majority of whom have been civilians.
Israeli forces killed nine Palestinians in the West Bank in a 24-hour period last week as tens of thousands took the streets in solidarity with Gaza in the largest demonstrations since the Second Intifada.
