NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Israeli troops shot and injured two Palestinian teenagers and physically assaulted a female reporter during predawn raids in several neighborhoods in Nablus city and its neighboring villages in the northern West Bank, local sources told Ma'an.
Clashes broke out with Israeli forces in the center of Nablus onn Amman Street as well as in the nearby Askar and Balata refugee camps after soldiers stormed the area.
Palestinian Red Crescent medics told Ma'an that 17-year-old Muhammad Muhsin al-Asmar sustained minor wounds in the neck as a result of gunshot shrapnel while 19-year-old Ahmad al-Wazani received a gunshot to his thigh.
The two were subsequently taken to Rafidia Hospital for treatment.
Separately, journalist Samah Samahnah was bruised in the eye after Israeli soldiers assaulted her during a raid in Askar refugee camp.
Samahnah works for a local radio station.
An Israeli military spokesperson did not immediately return calls seeking comment.
