Minor among 7 Palestinians detained by Israeli forces

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least seven Palestinians, including a minor, across the occupied West Bank, on predawn Thursday.

Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said that one Palestinian was detained in the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem. He was identified as Muhammad Ahmad al-Aisa.

In the central West Bank district of Jerusalem, another Palestinian was detained and identified as Muhammad Mousa Abassi, 15.

In the central West Bank district of Ramallah, four Palestinians were detained. They were identified as Muhammad Ali Shraitah, Yazan Abu Qaraa, Muhammad Faysal Lidadweh, Ahmad Raafat al-Ghazawi.

In the northern West Bank district of Jenin, one Palestinian former prisoner was detained and identified as Ali Yousef Kamil.

According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,400 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons, including 215 minors, 30 of whom under 16 years old.
