March 13, 2019 10:40 A.M. (Updated: March 14, 2019 12:38 P.M.)
SALFIT (Ma'an) -- 23-year-old Palestinian, Muhammad Jamil Shaheen, was shot and killed by Israeli forces in Salfit City, in the northern occupied West Bank, on Tuesday evening.

A Ma'an reporter said that large numbers of Israeli forces raided Salfit City and confiscated camera recordings from streets and commercial shops, causing violent clashes to erupt.

Sources confirmed that Israeli forces opened heavy fire towards Palestinian youths, killing Shaheen and injuring 40 others.

Israeli forces fired live ammunition, tear-gas bombs, and rubber-coated steel bullets during the clashes.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that Shaheen was shot dead with Israeli live ammunition, while the 40 Palestinians were injured with rubber-coated steel bullets and tear-gas bombs.
