Israel releases Palestinian after 17 years of imprisonment

JENIN (Ma'an) -- The Israeli authorities released, on Thursday morning, Palestinian prisoner Bilal Wajih Weld Ali, 34, after 17 years in Israeli imprisonment.

Weld Ali is from the Sanur village near the northern occupied West Bank city of Jenin.

Israeli forces had detained Weld Ali on March 8th, 2002.
