Slain Palestinian teen laid to rest in Ramallah

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Thousands of Palestinians marched, on Saturday, in the funeral of 16-year-old Mahmoud Youssef Nakhleh, who was shot and killed by Israeli forces during clashes that erupted on Friday in Ramallah City in the central occupied West Bank.

The funeral march set off from in front of Palestine Medical Center, heading towards Nakhleh's family home where his family said their final goodbyes before burial.

Nakhleh's body was carried on shoulders.

Mourners condemned Israel's killing of Nakhleh and the Israeli crimes against Palestinians, and waved Palestinian flags during the funeral march.

Stores and shops of the Ramallah and al-Bireh district shut its doors in mourning for Nakhleh.
