In video - Journalist among 25 detained Palestinians by Israeli forces

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least 25 Palestinians, including former prisoners and a journalist, across the occupied West Bank during predawn raids on Monday.

According to Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS), Israeli forces detained two Palestinians in the southern West Bank district of Hebron. They were identified as Amer Ahmad Abu Hussein and Hussam al-Hashlamon.

In the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, five Palestinians were detained. PPS identified them as former prisoner, Ghassan Zuwahra, Amjad al-Shweiki, Said Mahmoud al-Araj, Muhammad Fuad Subah along with his brother Salah Subah.

In the central West Bank district of Jerusalem, seven former Palestinian prisoners were detained. They were identified as Ibrahim Darbas, Majd Darwish, Samer Abu Aysha, Anas Darwiwsh, Abed al-Qader Dari, Muhammad Muhussein, and Majd Oweis.

In the central West Bank district of Ramallah, Israeli forces detained nine Palestinians. They were identified as Hussein Shujaiya, Muhammad Rabhi Shuman, Amir Shuman, Salah Muhammad Khuwaja, Muatasem Balal Khuwaja, Abed al-Qader Sharayaa, Abed al-Hakim Abu Adi, Nedal al-Rimawi, and Anwar Salah al-Din.

In the northern West Bank district of Tulkarem, two Palestinians were detained and identified as Muhammad al-Salman and a journalist, Sameh Munasra.

According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,554 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons.
