Israeli forces detain 14 Palestinians in West Bank

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least 14 Palestinians across the occupied West Bank on predawn Thursday.

According to Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS), Israeli forces detained five Palestinians in the southern West Bank district of Hebron. They were identified as Louay Niaman al-Saada along with his brother, Mahmoud, Nour al-Din Salhab, Iyad Naji al-Atrash, and Hamza Badawi.

In the central West Bank district of Ramallah, six Palestinians were detained. PPS identified them as Ahmad Kamal Abu Alya, Ramzi Abu Alya, Majdi Suleiman Atyah, Yacoub Abed al-RazeqFalna, Jihad Atta Falna, and Yazan Jad Mansour.

In the northern West Bank district of Jenin, two Palestinians were detained by Israeli forces. They were identified as Ashraf Salah Tarkaman and Mahmoud Mourad al-Saadi.

In the northern West Bank district of Tulkarem, one Palestinian was detained and identified as Muhammad Abed al-Latif Abu Hamsha, 21.

According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,554 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons.
