2 Israeli settlers injured after bus attack near Beit El

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Two Israeli settlers were injured, late Wednesday, while passing by the DCO military checkpoint in the northern part of the central occupied West Bank district of Ramallah and al-Bireh.

Hebrew-language news outlets reported that shots were fired targeting a bus carrying Israeli settlers as it was passing by near the illegal Israeli settlement of Beit El, one of the biggest settlements in the West Bank, which led to two Israeli settlers sustaining injuries.

The identity of the shooters remained to be unknown, and the motives behind the attack were not clear yet.

According to reports, Israeli forces and Israeli military vehicles were deployed across the area in search of the suspects.
