Israeli forces injure Palestinian youth during clashes

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian youth was shot and critically injured by Israeli forces during violent clashes in the Tuqu village, in the southern occupied West Bank district of Bethlehem, on Friday evening.

Locals said that Israeli forces shot a Palestinian youth in the knee with live ammunition during clashes.

Sources added that the youth was immediately transferred to a local hospital to receive medical treatment.

The identity of the Palestinian youth remained unknown.
