Injuries reported on 20th 'Great March of Return' in Gaza

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- At least four Palestinians were injured alongside the eastern borders of the besieged Gaza Strip on the 20th Friday of "The Great March of Return" marches.

Palestinian youths set fire to tires and launched incendiary balloons.

Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition and tear-gas bombs towards peaceful protesters in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip and eastern Gaza City.

Spokesperson of the Hamas movement, Abed al-Latif al-Qanou, said that this Friday marches set off under the slogan of "Friday of Freedom and Life", which confirms the Palestinian people’s persistent on continuing marches of return despite escalation.

"The Great March of Return" protests were launched on March 30th by thousands of Palestinian civilians in Gaza -- which has suffered from a decade-long Israeli siege -- who took to the borders to demand their right of return as refugees to their original homelands, now in present-day Israel.
