Earthquake hits Lake Tiberias in northern Israel

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A 4.2 magnitude earthquake hit Lake Tiberias in northern Israel on Friday, Israel's Channel 2 reported.

Residents of the area reported an earthquake occurring in the area.

Israeli news outlet Ynet said that the Geophysical Institute of Israel confirmed the earthquake and that it was of a 4.2 magnitude.
