Israeli forces detain Director General of Palestinian Civil Affairs at Gaza crossing

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained a director general at the Palestinian Ministry of Civil Affairs at the Erez crossing in northern besieged Gaza Strip on Thursday night.

According to sources in the ministry, Israeli forces detained Saed al-Ghoul, director general of the sub departments while at the Erez crossing returning to the Gaza Strip from Ramallah City. 

Israeli forces immediately transferred al-Ghoul for further investigations.
