Molotov cocktails thrown at Israeli settler bus near Hebron

Jan. 5, 2018 9:51 P.M. (Updated: Jan. 6, 2018 3:47 P.M.)
BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Palestinian youths reportedly threw Molotov cocktails at an Israeli settler bus near the al-Fuwwar refugee camp in the southern occupied West Bank district of Hebron late Thursday night.

Hebrew-language media reported that damages were done to the bus after being hit with two Molotov cocktails, however, no injuries were reported.

Since the occupation of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, in 1967, between 500,000 and 600,000 Israelis have moved into Israeli settlements in occupied Palestinian territory, in violation of international law.

The estimated 196 government recognized Israeli settlements scattered across the Palestinian territory are all considered illegal under international law.
