BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces on Wednesday reportedly detained two Palestinians from Gaza as they approached the border fence with Israel, according to official Palestinian Authority (PA)-owned Wafa news agency.

According to Wafa, Israeli soldiers detained the two Palestinians near the northern Gaza Strip, and took them to an unknown location.

Israeli forces regularly detain Palestinians attempting to cross into Israel from the besieged Gaza Strip, which has suffered under a decade-long military blokade by Israel and Egypt.
