5 Israelis mistakenly cross into Jordan

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Five Israeli citizens reportedly entered into Jordanian territory by mistake on Wednesday in the Wadi Araba region of the southern Israeli-Jordanian border, according to Israeli media.

According to Ynet news,
the five Israelis were questioned by Jordanian security forces and then taken back to Israel in coordination with the Israeli army.

An Israeli army spokesperson told Ma’an they were looking into reports.
