GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Two Palestinian fighters for the Hamas movement’s Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades were injured during an accidental explosion at a training site in the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip on Thursday.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health Ashraf al-Qidra said in a statement that two “youths” were injured with different wounds in an explosion and were transferred to the Nasser Hospital for treatment.

Last month, three Hamas fighters were killed during training accidents and tunnel collapses.
