22-year-old Palestinian commits suicide in Gaza City

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- A young Palestinian man committed suicide in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood of southern Gaza City on Tuesday morning "due to a family dispute," according to a Palestinian police spokesperson in Gaza.

Ayman al-Butneiji said that a 22-year-old committed suicide inside his house by taking prescription drugs, and that he was found dead some time later.

The young man, who was not identified, was a pharmacy student and a story writer.
