Palestinian woman dies in Gaza after husband 'accidentally' shoots her

GAZA (Ma’an) -- A Palestinian woman succumbed to her wounds on Thursday after her husband allegedly accidentally shot her with his gun earlier in the day in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Police spokesperson Ayman al-Batanjin said that the Palestinian woman, who he only referred to as “F.M.”, had succumbed to her wounds after being accidently shot by her husband.

He added that the police have detained the husband and opened up an investigation into the incident.
