May 29, 2017 3:02 P.M. (Updated: May 29, 2017 3:02 P.M.)
QALQILIYA (Ma’an) -- A Palestinian man was killed and another was critically injured after the two men stabbed each other inside a vehicle in the city of Qalqiliya in the northern occupied West Bank on Monday afternoon.

Police spokesperson Luay Irzeiqat said that the two men stabbed each other with sharp objects while inside their private vehicle, resulting in the death of 37-year-old Tawfiq Bassam Tawfiq Walwil, and while the other man, who remained unidentified, was critically injured.

Irziqat said that police opened an investigation to uncover the circumstances behind the dispute, and that Walwil’s body would not be buried until the investigation was completed.

The incident came a day after a young Palestinian man was killed and four others were injured during street brawl in Askar refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank city of Nablus.
