4 Palestinians injured in Qalqiliya clashes

QALQILIYA (Ma’an) -- Four Palestinians were injured, while others suffered from tear gas inhalation Thursday evening during clashes that erupted near an Israeli military checkpoint at the southern entrance of Qalqilya city in the northern occupied West Bank. 

The Palestinian Red Crescent told Ma’an that three Palestinians were injured with rubber-coated steel bullets, one sustained burns after being hit by a tear gas canister, and others suffered from tear gas inhalation. All of the injured Palestinians were treated at the scene.

An Israeli army spokesperson said they were looking into reports.
