Israeli forces detain Palestinian for weapon possession in northern West Bank

BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces on Thursday detained a Palestinian after allegedly finding three guns hidden in his vehicle at an Israeli military checkpoint in the northern occupied West Bank.

The Israeli army said in statement that Israeli forces found three "self-manufactured guns" during a search of a Palestinian car at a checkpoint in the northern West Bank, adding that the Palestinian driver was detained for interrogation.

The identity of the Palestinian and the exact location where he was detained remained unknown.
