Israeli military court pospones court session of sick Palestinian prisoner

RAMALLAH (Ma’an) -- The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) reported on Wednesday that an Israeli military court had postponed a hearing for a sick Palestinian prisoner. 

Head of the legal unit at PPS Jawad Boulos said that the Israeli Ofer military court postponed the court session for Ahmad al-Khasib, 21, to April 3, after his health deteriorated and he had to be transferred to the hospital. 

According to PPS, al-Khasib has been suffering from thalassemia, a genetic blood disorder. The 21-year-old was detained in November 2016 in the village of Arura in the central occupied West Bank district of Ramallah.
