BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) -- A 63-year-old Palestinian worker died on Wednesday while working on a stone crusher plant in the village of Zaatara in the east of the occupied West Bank district of Bethlehem.

Palestinian ambulance workers and civil defense sources said that the Palestinian worker died when he fell in a stone crushing machine. Palestinian police said they had opened an investigation into the incident.

Civil defense crews reported that the remains of the worker’s body have been taken to a forensic unit of a nearby hospital.
