GAZA (Ma’an) -- The Japanese and Norwegian ambassadors to Palestine arrived in the besieged Gaza Strip on Wednesday via the Erez crossing to follow up on their countries’ projects implemented through the United Nations Development Fund (UNDF).

A senior official in the Palestinian liaison said that Japanese Ambassador Tekeshi Okubo, his assistant, Norwegian Ambassador Hans Jacob, and three other Norwegian officials arrived in Gaza.

The ambassadors were expected to leave the Gaza Strip Wednesday evening following a press conference.
