BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian was injured during an exchange of fire with Israeli forces in the central occupied West Bank district of Ramallah on Wednesday night.

An Israeli army spokesperson told Ma'an that shots were fired at Israeli soldiers from a passing vehicle near the village of Abud, and that Israeli forces fired back at the vehicle, wounding the Palestinian, who she said was receiving medical treatment at the scene.

She added that no Israelis were wounded in the incident.
