Palestinian worker dies after falling off building in Beit Ummar

HEBRON (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian worker died on Tuesday after falling off an under-construction building in the town of Beit Ummar in the southern occupied West Bank.

Doctors at al-Ahli Hospital in Hebron pronounced Alaa Mahmoud Muhammad Aadi, 27, dead on Tuesday evening as he succumbed to critical wounds he sustained when he fell earlier during the day.

Local activist Muhammad Ayyad Awad said that Aadi fell off the second floor of an under-construction house in the Safa area in Beit Ummar and was immediately transferred to the hospital for treatment before being pronounced dead.
