QALQILIYA (Ma'an) -- Two Palestinian brothers were killed in a car crash on Monday morning near the village of Izbat al-Tabib in the northwestern occupied West Bank district Qalqiliya.
Palestinian police spokesman Luay Irzeiqat said in a statement that four other people were injured when a taxi and a private car collided on the main road to the Israeli checkpoint west of Qalqiliya.
The police statement identified the two brothers as being 33- and 32-year-old residents of the Nablus-area village of Urif. Meanwhile, local news sites identified them as Ziad and Nihad Jamal al-Safadi.
Irzeiqat added that the wounded were evacuated to Darwish Nazzal public hospital in Qalqiliya.
