19-year-old Hamas fighter dies during training exercise in Gaza

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- A 19-year-old fighter from the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas movement, was killed while two others were critically injured in an explosion at a Hamas training site in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip on Friday.

In a statement, the Brigades said Khan Yunis-native 19-year-old Moussa Hafeth Abu Saalik died in a training exercise.

The statement added that two other fighters were injured in the same incident.

Medical sources at the Nasser Hospital told Ma’an that two youths injured in an explosion in Khan Yunis arrived to the hospital in critical condition.
