Palestinian dies fighting with ISIS in Syria

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian from the Beit Hanoun town in the northern Gaza Strip died while fighting with ISIS in Syria.

Palestinian sources told Ma’an that Rami Hamad, in his twenties, died in Syria fighting with the militant Islamic group.

Sources added that Hamad’s wife, who is also in Syria, informed his family of his death on Friday morning.

Hamad had left the Gaza Strip some five years ago.
