Police: 13 drug dealers arrested in Tulkarem area

TULKAREM (Ma’an) – Palestinian police in cooperation with other security services on Wednesday arrested 13 suspected drug dealers during a raids in the northern occupied West Bank district of Tulkarem, police said.

Palestinian police spokesperson Luay Irzeiqat told Ma’an that the drug raids were carried out in Tulkarem city, Tulkarem refugee camp and the villages of Shweika, Iktaba and Balaa. 

Irzeiqat confirmed that 13 were arrested for allegedly selling drugs.

Drugs and other material used in their manufacturing were seized during the crackdown. 

The seized material included genetically engineered drugs, cannabis joints, Hydrocodone, phosphoric material and other chemicals, Irzeiqat said.
