March 22, 2016 8:30 P.M. (Updated: March 22, 2016 8:30 P.M.)
BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A fire broke out in a section of an Israeli prison for Palestinian detainees in West Jerusalem on Tuesday afternoon, Israeli media reported.

Firefighting crews were reportedly searching the site of the fire in the Russian Compound detention center to determine the cause of fire and to see whether anyone remained trapped in the building.

Prisoners were evacuated from the detention center by the administration.

This is the second fire to occur in the Russian Compound detention center this month.
