PLO Executive Committee hails efforts to hold Israeli-Palestinian peace talks

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- The Palestinie Liberation Organization Executive Committee held a meeting Thursday evening at the Palestinian presidential headquarters in Ramallah City to discuss internal Palestinian issues, current political developments and subsequent missions and responsibilities.

The committee welcomed efforts by France to holding an international peace conference to address the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The PLO Executive Committee called for international guarantees to initiate a political process to solve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in accordance with international law, ending the occupation and establishing a Palestinian state under a committed timeline with an international follow-up framework.
