GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Israeli authorities prevented Saleh Zeidan, member of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine party, from traveling via the Erez crossing to Jerusalem for medical treatment in the A-Maqasid Hospital on Thursday.

The DFLP party said that the procedure was a continuation of Israeli violations against Palestinians.

The party added that preventing Palestinians from their right of travel and receiving medication is an application of the Netanyahu government's policy of offensives, sieges, settlements and human rights violations.

The group called upon international and rights groups to take action to expose Israeli crimes and aggressive policies.

It's no wonder Israel do want this military leader who while he was in Lebanon throughout the 1970s and 1980s, anywhere near Israel. He was a commander during the battle of 1975 to 1976 defending Tal al-Zaatar Camp and was one of the leading figures of the PLO in Lebanon during the war.
