Israeli army opens fire at Gaza fishing boats

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Israeli military boats on Wednesday afternoon opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats near the shore of the central Gaza Strip, security sources said.

Local security sources said Israeli boats opened fire at boats near Deir al-Balah.

No injuries were reported.

An Israeli army spokeswoman did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
