Jan. 18, 2015 10:55 A.M. (Updated: Jan. 18, 2015 6:06 P.M.)
NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Three Palestinians required treatment at the hospital Sunday morning after being assaulted by Israeli soldiers while they were working at a bakery in the center of Nablus.

Palestinian security sources told Ma'an that Israeli military forces entered the city center in the area of Shuhada (Martyrs') Square early Sunday and carried out a number of raids on stores in the Anabtawi building.

They then entered the Palestine Bakery located in the same area, and during the raid beat three workers, leaving them bruised.

Nayif Muhammad Ali al-Shami, his brother Jihad al-Shami, and Muhammad Ali Ramadan were evacuated to al-Watani Hospital in Nablus as a result of the assault.

They were later discharged after receiving treatment.

The security sources said that during the raid on central Nablus, Palestinian youths clashed with the Israeli soldiers in the streets.

An Israeli military spokeswoman did not respond to a request for comment.
