Police: Palestinian stabs Israeli with screwdriver in Jerusalem

TEL AVIV, Israel (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian man stabbed an Israeli man with a screwdriver in occupied Jerusalem on Sunday, Israeli media and police reported.

The victim was taken to hospital in moderate condition, police said.

"Police searching for suspect who stabbed Israeli 32 year old man near central Jerusalem," Israel police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld wrote on Twitter.

He added: "Man taken to hospital in moderate condition."
