NABLUS (Ma'an) -- An Israeli settler car knocked down a Palestinian teenager south of Nablus on Wednesday evening, a Palestinian official said.

Ghassan Daghlas, an official who monitors settler activities in the norther West Bank, said 13-year-old Ibrahim Odeh was knocked down by the car on the Huwwara road.

He was taken to Rafidia public hospital to be treated for moderate injuries.

The settler fled the scene of the incident, although it is unclear whether it was accidental or intentional.

On Oct. 19, a five-year-old Palestinian girl was knocked down by a settler car and later died.

Residents of Sinjil accused the settler of deliberately hitting the girls, although the settler reported the incident at a Israeli police station.
