BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- The counselor of the South African Representative Office to the Palestinian Authority visited the headquarters of Ma'an News Agency in Bethlehem on Tuesday.

Goodman Molate stressed the South African public’s trust and follow-up of Ma'an's news site, “especially during the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip.”

Chief Editor of Ma'an Nasser Laham received the counselor and they discussed ways of enhancing cooperation and connection with the Representative Office.

Lahham praised the South African government and people for their support to Palestinians, especially during the last Israeli offensive on Gaza.

South Africa sent substantial aid including medical delegations, and marches and protests were held in support of the Gaza Strip throughout the offensive.
