BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A group of Jewish-American tourists in Bethlehem organized a vigil in solidarity with the people of the besieged Gaza Strip on Friday.

The group said that the vigil, which was held in Manger Square in the historic city center, was meant to show their rejection of the Israeli assault that left more than 2,000 Palestinians dead over the last seven weeks.
