Israeli warplanes struck Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip late Saturday, killing two Palestinians and leaving several others injured, a health ministry spokesman said.

Ashraf al-Qidra said an airstrike hit a civilian car in the al-Barazil neighborhood in eastern Rafah, killing Said Aatif Tamraz, 26, and Muhammad Adil al-Ayidi, 28.

Their bodies were taken to Abu Yousef Najar hospital, al-Qidra said.
