Former Hamas spokesman dies in Gaza

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Sources in Gaza told Ma'an that the body of former Hamas spokesperson Ayman Taha arrived at al-Shifa hospital on Thursday.

Taha was arrested by the Hamas government months ago after being charged with embezzlement and financial fraud, and was in prison until he died.

The circumstances of his death were not immediately clear.
